  Testimonial
"Keith knows kids. I love being at the same time/place and seeing the same kids/parents week after week. I love that the parents cheer on ALL of the kids, even when they play against each other. I love that these boys play like gentlemen. They help each other up, but play HARD. I love the positive impact Keith is making on these kids. The 5/6 team this season has been AMAZING. Seriously, their skill level is freaking awesome. Ryan has really come out of his shell. He's got a MEAN kick and gets up even more quickly when he gets wiped out. Will is an amazing leader. His communication on the field rocks. Nikki is also fantastic at speaking up on the field. I hear him often "I'm OPEN!" Biased as I am, Evan is the MVP in my eyes. Keith has brought him up well and Evan is a completely different player than when he started. He gets sportsmanship, rules, regulations and the game as a whole on an entirely new level. Keith's groups are amazing, and so is his love of the game and especially the kids is unmatched. Watching Evan learn techniques with Matt and "regulations" with Keith was just so impressive for me. It's a pleasure to be a part of such an awesome group of parents!"

  Age Groups
NEW AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR 2016/2017 season. Birth year registration should be based on the year in which the season ends. For example, if a season begins in the fall of 2017 and ends in the summer of 2018 (ex: 2017-18 season), the players would be registered based on their age in the year 2018. Competitions that take place in a single year (ex: fall of 2018 only) should use that year to determine birth year. To simplify determining the age group, just subtract the birth year from the year the season ends.

Year Season Ends – Birth Year = Age Group:
  • 2016-17 – 2001 = U16
  • 2016-17 – 2004 = U13
  • 2016-17 – 2008 = U9
The chart below shows the upcoming seasons and the Under team level they will play. Find the year of your child's birth, then look at the 2016-2017 column to find the appropriate age group they need to play in. Click to enlarge.

Welcome to the home of Keith Van Eron Pro Soccer Club!

Let's Have a Great Season!

In the mid '90s, Keith Van Eron had the top youth Club Teams in Maryland. Now as the popularity of Club soccer explodes, many parents have shown interest in Keith starting a Club--sharing his special vision for youth soccer. After much thought, Keith decided to create a Club in 2013 for talented, dedicated soccer players that want to increase their skills while having FUN. At the same time, Keith could spread his love and knowledge of soccer to the next generation of players. Keith Van Eron Pro Soccer Club is starting its third year and has added more teams. Keith will personally ensure that every team will share his philosophy and vision.

Keith wants to keep his club affordable and therefore has arguably the lowest rates for club soccer in town. This covers the expenses of operating a club, which include providing practice fields, equipment, insurance, marketing, and more. Annual Club dues are $500 and are payable 50% at acceptance of a roster spot and 50% in September.

Also, each NEW player will need to purchase a uniform kit ($195) which includes Jerseys (home and away), Shorts, Socks, Backpack and Warmup.

In addition, each individual team will decide what leagues and tournaments to play in. This will dictate the team budget that will be split equally amongst all players on the team and be payable monthly.

Club Directors

Director - Keith Van Eron is a former professional goalkeeper and is the only goalkeeper to have played in the first 10 MISL seasons with the best winning percentage in the history of the MISL. He now works year around with youth soccer players. He has been coaching youth soccer for over 25 years. In 1996 Keith received the Governor's Citation for his outstanding work with young people in Maryland. He was also the past spokesman for the D.A.R.E Program in Baltimore County and is a frequent speaker and motivator for young children. In 1998 he received the highest honor given by the Soccer Hall of Fame, "The Billy Award" for his outstanding services and contributions to the game. Keith was inducted into the Baltimore Blast Hall of Fame on Febuary 16, 2008. Keith played six seasons with the Blast and was a member of 1984 Baltimore Blast MISL Championship team and was the winning goalkeeper in the Blast's Championship Series-clinching win over St. Louis on June 8, 1984.

Coach - Jeremy Figler is a goalkeeper for the Baltimore Blast in the 2015-2106 season. He previously played professionally for Sävsjö FF in Sweden. In college, Figler started 35 games for St. Bonaventure over two seasons after transferring from the University at Buffalo. The Grand Island, N.Y., native recorded 154 saves and tallied three shutouts over his career at St. Bonaventure. Back in high school, Figler led his team to a sectional championship and played for the Blackwatch Premier NY soccer club, where he appeared in three state cups.

Coach - Deanna Ballard was an outstanding high school goalie at Monticello High School. She played two years at Dickinson College and then transferred to Towson University and played superbly in goal before an injury shortened her career. Deanna has been a Goalkeeper Coach since 2013, has extensive experience coaching goalkeepers ages 8-18, and has a NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeping License.

Coach - Schillo Tshuma moved from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to the Washington, D.C., suburbs as a youth in 2008 as part of a partnership between the charity Grassroot Soccer and elite boarding school Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Va. Schillo was a three-time state champ at Episcopal and tallied 55 goals and 28 assists during his prep career. Schillo attended University of Maryland and helped the Terrapins reach the NCAA 2013 College Cup final as a sophomore. Schillo was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference second-team selection in 2013 as a sophomore and was the second-leading scorer for Maryland that season. He started 21 of his 24 games played as a freshman at Maryland and was bamed to the ACC All-Freshman Team and All-ACC Second Team in 2012. He was also selected to the ACC Championship All-Tournament and College Cup All-Tournament teams following the 2012 season. On January 16, 2014, Tshuma was drafted 17th overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers. On March 25, 2016, USL club Saint Louis FC announced their signing of Tshuma.

5/6/7/ Development League

For the kids that are too young for U8, KVE Pro Soccer Club has created the Development League. Members will receive year round coaching once a week and will play in a Saturday league each season. Outdoors in the Summer, Spring and Fall and an Indoor league in the Winter. Cost is $50 per month plus club dues and covers coaching fees, entry into four leagues, practice fields and training gear. Players on the Development Team will receive 20% off discounts on all summer camps, school year camps, goalie clinics, and skills clinics.

Scholarships and Fundraisers

Keith wants everybody to be able to play soccer in the Club if they love soccer and have the talent and desire. Therefore, Keith and the Board of Directors will offer partial scholarships based on financial need. In addition, each Team will be able to organize fundraisers to raise money for the team, and reduce the cost of playing.

We're not building the biggest Youth Soccer Club in Baltimore - just the Best!

If you want your son or daughter to have the best soccer experience, with great coaching that has him begging to go to practice and games, look no further. Keith Van Eron is committed to providing a first class soccer learning environment at an affordable cost. Most teams are full.
